Lupetta's scarves are absolutely unique, combining the Italian art, flair and my personal aesthetics with a dedicated attention to the quality of the materials and the way materials can work together.
In creating these scarves and wraps I have partnered with the same weaver (in Como) who serves major luxury brands, and each scarf is carefully designed and crafted—a nice refreshing change from the 'mass marketization' of luxury. Being a ‘boutique’ production, my designs can afford the choicest fibers—primarily cashmere, along with silk and gold lurex. This particular cashmere is fine, lightweight and gossamer, and yet extra warm and cozy.
When I wore one of my Lupetta's scarves for the first time I felt that it had an effect on me, my mood... it was like wearing a precious item, uniquely elegant and multi-faceted.
In creating the Lupetta scarves I had in mind a combination of my classic sensitivity with an avant-garde vision.
Be careful when wearing Lunette cashmere wraps and jewelry together, as sharp ends may pull threads. However, depending on the design of the scarf, a pulled thread can be easily cut without any risk of compromising the weave.
Dry cleaning is recommended in order to preserve the shine and polished look of cashmere and silk. Because of high quality of the natural fibers employed, some of the Lupetta scarves may be also hand-washed in lukewarm water and ironed at low heat—depending on the design and finish of the scarf.
